Thomas Paccia

Thomas Pacchia is the Founder and Co-Owner of PubKey and a seasoned specialist in Bitcoin and digital assets with over eight years of dedicated industry experience. In 2017, he founded HODL Capital, a digital asset hedge fund focused on crypto and hash rate markets, where he served as Chief Investment Officer and Director. He has also held governance and advisory roles across the industry, including serving on the Board of Stronghold Digital Mining and advising multiple early-stage companies developing critical infrastructure for the crypto ecosystem.

Prior to HODL Capital, Thomas was a Director in Fidelity Investments’ Bitcoin/Blockchain Incubator (2016–2017)and a founding team member of Fidelity Digital Asset Services, where he contributed to building one of the earliest institutional crypto custody and trading platforms. His experience also includes serving as an early product developer at Digital Asset Holdings (2015), one of the pioneering blockchain software companies.

Before transitioning to crypto, Thomas practiced as a swaps and derivatives lawyer at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP (2012–2013), advising financial institutions on complex regulatory and transactional matters.

Most recently, Thomas also served as an Advisor to Blockade Labs, further extending his impact on the evolving landscape of blockchain innovation.
