Code of Conduct Policy
Principled Business New York Summit 2025
Effective Date: March 20, 2025

1. Introduction

The Principled Business NeYork Summit 2025 ("Summit") is committed to fostering an environment that supports freedom of expression, open discussions, and professional networking while upholding mutual respect and civility for all participants. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for behavior and the consequences for violations to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for all attendees.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all Summit participants, including but not limited to attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, organizers, and volunteers. It covers all Summit-related events, including in-person and virtual activities.

3. Expected Behavior

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat all individuals with respect, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other characteristic.

  • Engage in constructive and professional discussions.

  • Follow all applicable laws and Summit policies.

  • Respect personal space and boundaries of others.

  • Comply with the instructions of event staff and security personnel.

4. Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • Harassment, threats, discrimination.

  • Physical, verbal, written abuse or sexual misconduct.

  • Disruptive or aggressive behavior that interferes with the event.

  • Unauthorized recording, photography, or distribution of Summit materials.

  • Damage to property or theft.

  • Possession of illegal substances or weapons.

5. Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to a member of the Principled Business team. If necessary, attendees should also report any violations of the law to local authorities. In case of emergencies, dial 911. All reports will be taken seriously and handled with discretion.

6. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Expulsion from the event without a refund.

  • Reporting the incident to law enforcement where applicable.

  • Future bans from Summit events.

7. Anti-Retaliation Policy

The Summit prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who report violations in good faith. Retaliation will result in disciplinary action.

8. Modifications & Updates

The Summit organizers reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Updates will be posted on the official event website with the revised effective date.
