Tanner Jones

Tanner Jones is the CEO and Founder of Vulcan Technologies, an AI company that streamlines regulatory processes in partnership with state and federal agencies, including the Office of Governor Glenn Youngkin, South Carolina DOGE, and the U.S. Department of Education. Vulcan recently closed an $11 million seed funding round led by General Catalyst, Trevor Rees-Jones, and Y Combinator. Prior to founding Vulcan, Tanner successfully exited his first startup, Downballot Solutions, and served as Director at Joe Lonsdale's Cicero Institute. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy, Economics, and Classical Studies from Dartmouth College, where he was a champion powerlifter who qualified for the IPL World Championships. He has also coached several state and national champion high school debaters.
