Jorge Jraissati

President, Economic Inclusion Group

Jorge Jraissati is the President of the Economic Inclusion Group, a policy organization specialized in addressing complex regulatory issues affecting people’s economic freedom and market inclusion. EIG’s strategic priorities include protecting people and businesses from losing their access to financial services due to political attacks (“debanking”), understanding the political weaponization of private financial information, and expanding the adoption of crypto assets for international operations and compliance efficiency.



Since Jorge founded EIG in 2024, their proposals have secured the support of over 100 lawmakers in the United States and Europe. Jorge has been invited to present his research at institutions like the U.S. Treasury Department and European Central Bank. He has produced policy reports for institutions like the Council of Europe, as well as several universities and think tanks. EIG has also organized roundtable discussions at conferences like the Summit for Democracy, universities like MIT and institutions like the U.S. State Department.



Jorge is also a researcher at IESE Business School and the College of Business of Florida Atlantic University. He is a fellow at the Bitcoin Policy Institute, and was previously a fellow at the Hoover Institution of Stanford University. Jorge has degrees in Economics and Business from the Wilkes Honors College and IESE Business School.
