David Yakobovitch

General Partner at DataPower Ventures

David is the General Partner at DataPower Ventures, where he leads investments in transformative AI infrastructure and agent companies, managing both an early-stage fund and growth SPVs. With a focus on data infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, enterprise AI applications, and growth-stage AI companies, he has built an extensive portfolio in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.


Before founding DataPower Ventures, David had an impactful career at Google, where he led Data Intelligence initiatives and managed LLM Red Team operations. He also has significant early-stage startup experience, having held key roles in five startups, two of which resulted in successful exits. His journey includes working at General Assembly (acquired by Adecco) and Galvanize (acquired by Stride/LRN), where he was instrumental in scaling platforms and driving growth.


In his technical leadership roles, David has scaled developer platforms from inception to over 100,000 users, built and managed technical enablement teams for enterprise products, and spearheaded strategic partnerships with major tech companies such as IBM and SAS. Additionally, he developed enterprise sales enablement programs at SingleStore, contributing to the company's success in the market.

Throughout his career, David has partnered with a wide range of organizations across multiple industries, including Fortune 500 companies like Google, Walmart, Salesforce, Bloomberg, and VMware, as well as financial giants such as Citadel, Charles Schwab, USAA, and LSEG. His academic collaborations span prestigious institutions like Harvard Medical School, MIT, UC Berkeley, and Imperial College, and he has worked with government agencies such as NASA, CDC, and NOAA. On the global stage, he has engaged with major corporations like BP, Saudi Telecom, Cemex, and Banorte.


Currently, David is focused on building one of the largest global communities dedicated to AI infrastructure, connecting founders, investors, and enterprise leaders through curated events and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
